Gateway to Local Government Luncheon

Working as an advocate for the Greater Heights and the city of Houston, the Chamber sponsored the annual Gateway to Local Government Luncheon on July 29.  Representatives of city, county, state and national officials were on-site manning informational tables and making themselves available for questions regarding their operations, policies and giving advice on the best way to interact with them  Keynote speaker Houston City Mayor Sylvester Turner delivered an address regarding the state of the city, honestly focusing on challenges the city faces but facing those with optimism and determination.

Thank you to our committee members, sponsors and attendees for making this a very successful event!
